Switches the Favourites display between being the same for every view, and letting you set it on a per-view basis |

Turns on some debugging features - outputs extra information to _I8Debug file on progress as it updates the main list. Useful if there is a problem with a corrupt SD card and you need to figure where the corruption is causing the crash. |
| I8Hidden |
Toggles showing of hidden apps. If hidden apps show, then Initiate will display system or other hidden apps and let you launch them. They won't all do anything useful though! You might want to create a shortcut to any that you plan to use, then turn off hidden apps in the main display. |
| I8Reset |
Resets all preferences to default values and re-builds the list |

NB - the following functions let you save and load preferences. Use with care as they assume the saved and loaded preferences are for the same preference format. If the preference format changes, this will load bad settings! They are mostly intended for people to save preferences that are causing a crash when I need to investigate a problem.
This will not allow you to keep preferences where I8 tries to delete them due to a change in the preference structure. |
